I know it has been awhile since I have posted, and for that I apologize. I felt I should update the website and I have been on social media (tiktok, facebook, instagram) for the little things. But things have changed for me and I thought a blog would be in order.
For the past several months I have continued to work my jobs as well as resting and recuperating from the cancer treatments. I am finally out of the woods, and my main problem now is side effects from my medication (which can get quite ugly) and getting my energy back.
In May I met a new oncologist who I absolutely love. He is semi-retired, but that means he has time for his patients and isn’t running out the door to his next appointment. He explains everything to me and shows me my scans. He was so pleased with my test results in May that he didn’t need to see me for two months.
In July I met with him again. And my blood tests came back so clean and normal that he said without knowing why he was seeing me he would wonder why he was seeing me. He did set me up with a CT scan next week, but he doesn’t need to see me until September! And then on top of that two major cancer researcher associations are working on a vaccine for my cancer, using the protocols from covid to do so! So, that means I could possibly be cured from this!
So, with a slowly growing energy level (I’m currently two days up, one day resting), and a new lease on life I am looking to the future and what I really want to do. I will finish my books of course, but I want to live differently. So i am taking strides to change what I do and how I do it. And maybe… where I do it. I am reinventing Sophie.. 3.0. I am not going to speak about specifics now, better to do it then just talk about it and have the plans fail. I will blog about it but be sure to follow my socials for daily posts.
