There are moments in a creative life where the ground shifts — sometimes gently, sometimes all at once — and you feel yourself stepping into a new chapter. I’ve been feeling that pull for a while now, and today I am finally opening the door.
For those of you who have walked with me through so much already —
my ALK-positive lung cancer journey,
my writing echoes,
my past-life explorations as Dave,
the early bones of my book,
and the strange, myth-soaked places my stories often lead —
thank you. Truly.
You’ve been with me through breath and shadow, through survival and imagination, through the dark and the luminous. This community has meant more to me than I can put into words.
But it’s time for the work to have a home that matches the shape it has become.
I’ve moved everything — my writing, my mythic threads, my cinematic dispatches, and the unfolding creative world around my book — to Substack, where I’m building something new:
